Here are the rest of the pics from the June 4th, 2011, Manhattan Mayhem vs Queens of Pain Roller Derby Bout.
Queens of Pain defeated Manhattan Mayhem 184 to 76. I still thought there were a lot of great plays.

I am not going repeat what I already wrote here. A quick synopsis, starting August 1st, 2010 I will publish a picture I take that day everyday for a year (well to be exact I will do this everyday until July 31st, 2011). This is the 137th of those photographs. Also, there is a Flickr collection called “The Awesome Leftovers” where I put the daily shots (if any) that didn’t make the cut.
Look who it is.

This is across the street from Mood. Denise and I were going to check out some organic fabric. It was Denise’s first time there, which is always cool. Mood is magical, even after the first couple of times. :] They have almost everything there. I could stare at just the buttons all day long.

This is a re-write 3 days later.
Kathleen Hanna seems cool. I don’t know her, but I loved the last video in this post of her at Joe’s Pub. It pushed me to become mini obsessed with her over the last week. That might not seem like a long time for most people, but for an obsessive Aquarius like myself it is enough time to form a 100 page hypothesis on this observable phenomenon.
I edited this post 3 days later. Someone rated the post 1 star which means they thought it sucked ass. Which it did! This might not be any better, but they are my words. I don’t care about the one star per se, but if I am going to get it I want it to be for my words, not “facts” I found on this world wide web. That’s reduncqulous. :]
On with the show!
This video is from when Kathleen was with Bikini Kill.
She released a solo album under the name Julie Ruin in 1998.
She then went live as the lead singer for Le Tigre in the late 1990s.
This last video is about how Hanna’s drunken tagging of Kurt Cobain’s apartment inspired the name for Nirvana’s single, “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. It’s preformed at Our Hit Parade staring, Kathleen Hanna, Kenny Mellman, Carmine Covelli, Mike Jackson and Mr. Adam Horovitz. They also did Bikini Kill’s “Rebel Girl”. :]
12-15-2010 at Joe’s Pub in NYC.
It is pretty awesome. Kathleen Hanna is super fresh.

This is Be Nice’s newest design by me entitled, Who Stars. This owl is not only wise, but also a super hero in disguise. Who is the one who stars in the night? Who never takes flight from a fight? That’s right it’s the unknown hero of Be Nice. Stay tuned for more on this story…
Good times.

I may not believe in the institution of marriage, but I do believe in fair is fair, everyone deserves the same legal rights. I’m sick of the church and state getting together and saying we can’t be married. I thought they were separate. I am also sick of adulterers saying I am attacking the institution of marriage.
Fuck that.

A quick synopsis, starting August 1st, 2010 I will publish a picture I take that day everyday for a year (well to be exact I will do this everyday until July 31st, 2011). Today’s photo of the day is an obvious bit of self promotion for Be Nice, my organic cotton, hand printed, unique designs t-shirt business. I printed up two new designs for Be Nice this last weekend. One being Homosapien Friendly, a design by Marine Boudeau, which is today’s picture of the day. The second new addition to Be Nice’s repertoire is Who Stars, a design by me, Cara Reynolds. There are also the two slightly altered-for-the-better tees, Binary Queer and Wind Turbines. To check out all these new additions go to Day 57 – Be Nice.
You may pre-order the new designs if you so desire. :] Please send an e-mail to info[at]ubenice[dot]com for this special promotion before they are released on the site to all. Be Nice shirts are only $25. Send the email and we’ll get the ball rolling on delivering your new, soft, hand printed, organic cotton, super fly tee to you asap.
Much love.
